PhotoSync – transfer photos App Reviews

If you take a lot of photos as I do you will want this Photosync! I have used it for several years and still love it. I dont have time to look for an extra cord to connect my phone to my computer and why would I with this app! Easy fast and awesome! I use it on computer laptop iPad and iPhone.

It allows me to easily transfer my pictures from the phone to my PC or tablet without the hassle of launching iTunes and searching for cables. Great software.

Photosync has worked efficiently and dependably for the six months I have been using it for uploading photos to Smugmug from my iPad while traveling. I couldnt ask for better performance even with a dedicated iPad uploader from Smugmug itself. To make it any better would be to add the ability to choose the destination gallery, but that is easily accomplished in Smugmug itself, in a snap.

Since I dont have os lion (therefore, I dont have iCloud on my computer), I thought there was no way I could get so many pics from my photo stream on my phone up to my computer. These were photos that I deleted from my camera roll since I knew they were there on the photo stream. But my old version of iPhoto did not pick up on these photo stream photos. I found this app and was able to transfer all my photo stream photos to my computer… No iCloud on my computer needed!!!

I cant believe Apple hasnt come up with some kind of bogus reason to come and rip this app from the App Store. Its too good to be true. Ive used the app in the past just to have another option to easily transfer my photos and videos to and from my computer. This was before Apple stopped allowing a PC to see your mobile Apple device as a drive effectively giving you drag and drop capabilities. But now its absolutely essential to my work flow. Apple wants the consumer to feel like the have to store or sync everything locally on the device or store it on their servers/cloud. But this app allows an owner of a 16gb capacity phone to quickly free up space that may be eaten up by photos or videos. I LOVE the developers of this app! I just hope it stays alive!

When I first purchased this app, I had no trouble transferring pictures from my iPhone to my iPad or even to my PC. But recently I have not been able to transfer pictures from my iPhone directly to my PC. Nothing has changed with my PC but I cannot transfer pictures. This stinks!

All I wanted to do was easy transfer of images. So I downloaded the PC software and have the app - nothing- Scam Email customer service and they send the same inadequate instructions again Better to connect your phone to computer and just transfer via a cord

Update to the Update: As the title of another Review put it, Lifesaver. --------- Still the best Ive found for easy, wireless pics transfers. --------- Its easy to use...pretty intuitive. And it is fairly configurable. Like copy and keep on device or delete copied photos to main computer off of the device. Its never crashed or acted weird. I have tried a number of others only to have problems or not easy to use. It does what says and does it well.

I love this app. Its made it possible for me to get my photos off my phone to my iMac without connecting anything to the computer.

Strikes the right balance of being very powerful (power user friendly) and easy to use. I was searching for a solution to back up photos to the PC for a long time and this is it. Despite having a lot of features it is very easy to use, and most importantly it is very very fast. The server app is simple and stable and unobtrusive on your desktop. One minor observation is that the text and descriptions within the app is not as polished or layman friendly, possibly because the company is German. However this is almost a non-issue

I dont know what more there is to say, I open the app on my laptop, open it on my phone, select the photos or video that I want to transfer from the phone to the computer and a couple of seconds later Im working on them on the computer. It works, I like it, the end.

One day I was so frustrated to copy some videos to my camera roll. I tried uploading to google drive and then trying to save it but never worked. Then I googled and found this amazing app. With this, life has become hell easy to transfer photos or videos between computers and phone. Thank u so much for the people who developed this. U saved my time in life!!

I have minimal storage on my phone, and Ive been using Google drive all these years to store screenshots and memories and things that are silly but are still points in time (one day I WILL print out the worthwhile photos)!!! Love this app already and the online companion, a great transfer to Drive, cant wait to see what else I can do with this thing! THANKS!
